Dr. Simwayi is the Acting Registrar and Lecturer in the School of Law at ZAOU. He is a seasoned Law Enforcement and Change Management Expert with over 25 years’ experience. Prior to his appointment at ZAOU, he worked at the Drug Enforcement Commission as Director General. He also work for the Zambia Police Service, Zambia Sugar PLC and the Central Bank of Zambia. Among his qualifications are a PhD in Management, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, a Master’s Degree in Corporate and Commercial Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
He is a certified Franklin Covey trainer of Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and the Disciplines of Execution. He teaches Corporate and Commercial Law and supervises both undergraduate and postgraduate legal research work. Dr. Simwayi is passionate about the application of best change management practices and the law to social challenges including drug abuse, crime in general and gender imbalances. He believes strongly in embracing change and because the world is changing very fast. The big guys on the market will no longer continue to beat the small guys. He posits that it is the FAST that will beat the slow guys.
